A Yellow Themed Wedding in Downtown Los Angeles
As a creative exercise, I decided to revisit my old wedding photos and re-edit them to reflect my current style. Thankfully, the hoarder in me held onto those RAW files, understanding that, like any industry, photography evolves with shifting styles, fashions, and trends. Yet, one thing that remains timeless is the love, spontaneity, and raw emotion experienced on every wedding day. My goal is to rework photos from all my favorite weddings, starting with this one as the first in the series.

This shot takes us back to a 2012 wedding—the camera in the frame is the perfect time capsule!

My thought process for this shot: ‘Ooh, yellow shoes… maybe the ring will fit?’ And it did—perfectly!

I adore the handmade hanger text—so much more unique and meaningful than the pre-made ones. It’s a beautiful reflection of how the bride and groom poured their hearts into every detail of their wedding preparation.

I’m just thinking out loud here, but I’m of the mindset that you should be able to eat almost everything on a cake—okay, maybe I’m exaggerating! This cake is so stunningly beautiful, it makes me almost want to eat the petals too.

Sunflower: a touch of nature to this beautiful wedding day.
